Samsun delegation including Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO), attended the meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and they discussed where investments to be made in the city. Assoc. Dr. Zülkif Dağlı-Samsun Governor, Çiğdem Karaaslan -AK Party Deputy Chairman, Fuat Köktaş, Orhan Kırcalı, and Ahmet Demircan- AK Party Samsun Deputies, Mustafa Demir -Metropolitan Mayor and mayors from other districts, Ersan Aksu -AK Party Provincial Head, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal-OMU Rector, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Aydın- SAMU Rector, Salih Zeki Murzioğlu- Chairman of  Samsun TSO, Sinan Çakır-Chairman of Samsun Commodity Exchange, İbrahim Sağlam- Provincial Director of Agriculture participated in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Bekir Pakdemirli-Agriculture and Forestry Minister and Mustafa Varank-Trade and Technology Minister.  At the meeting held under the chairmanship of Minister Pakdemirli, increasing cannabis production in Samsun, buffalo breeding, and branding of the products obtained were discussed, while new investments to be brought to the city, industrial investments, and investments in R&D studies were discussed with Minister Varank.

Salih Zeki Murzioğlu- TOBB Vice President and Chairman of Samsun TSO attended the Joint Council Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), held with the participation of Lütfi Elvan- Minister of Treasury and Finance. Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO), attended the Joint Council Meeting of TOBB Chambers of Commerce and Industry, TOBB Chambers of Commerce, TOBB Chambers of Industry, TOBB Commodity Exchanges, and TOBB Chambers of Shipping. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu- Chairman of TOBB stated that they paid great attention to the 7% growth recorded in the first quarter of the year as it shows that the support given to the private sector has an important impact, during the meeting attended by Lütfi Elvan-Treasury and Finance Minister. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that “We hope to achieve perhaps the highest quarterly growth figure in our history in the second quarter. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "We think we will reach record levels in both industrial production and exports." Lütfi Elvan- Minister of Treasury and Finance said that “We think that in order to maintain strong growth, a decrease in credit rates, and inflation, stability in exchange rates should be ensured and we can achieve this as we have done in the past," he said. Stating that the meeting was very productive, Salih Zeki Murzioğlu-Chairman of Samsun TSO thanked Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu who has always been the voice of the business world and supported the expectations and demands of their community to be heard by government officials.

Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun TSO said that Nefes Credit, which has been implemented 7 times since 2017 under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been on since 1 June. Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the 2021 Nefes Credit started to be implemented again as of June 1, 2021, in cooperation with TOBB and KGF, with the participation of 10 banks. Stating that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey mobilized all the resources of 365 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, Murzioğlu said, “With the credit, businesses will be given a 6-month grace period. Credit installments will be paid in 12 equal parts after the grace period. The annual interest on the credit will be 17.50%. Businesses with a turnover of 10 million TL or less and with a 25% loss in 2020 turnover compared to 2019 will be able to benefit from the credit. Businesses established after 2019 will not be required to lose revenue. SMEs with a turnover not exceeding 1 million TL in 2020 will be able to use credits up to a maximum of 50 thousand TL, and SMEs with a turnover between 1-10 million TL will be able to use a credit up to a maximum of 200 thousand TL. Murzioğlu said, “In order to meet the financing needs, we, as the Chamber, offer all our resources to our members. Our member SMEs will be able to apply to contracted banks with the membership certificate they will receive from our Chamber. If our members wish, they will be able to receive their documents as e-documents without coming to the Chamber. Our members will be able to use credits from the branches of 10 banks all over Turkey.  The 6-month grace period is currently the most important issue for our businesses.
