Ünal Kaya- SGK Provincial Director spoke during his visit to Samsun TSO due to Social Security Week and said that they are pulling out all the stops to support the insured and employers during the pandemic process.
Due to the Social Security Week celebrated between 16-22 May, Ünal Kaya-Social Security Institution (SGK) Provincial Directo, Uğur Özkaplan-Provincial Director and Gülcay Yıldırım Manager of Atakum Social Security Center visited the Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Board of Directors. He met with Salih Zeki Murzioğlu-The Chairman and Haluk Akyüz-Speaker of Samsun CCI. Murzioğlu expressed his satisfaction regarding the visit and celebrated the Social Security Week of all members of the organization. Kaya talked about their services provided during the pandemic process and said, “We have pulled out all the stops for supporting the insured and employers during the pandemic process and continue to do. In particular, the needs that arise during the treatment process require new regulation; Various arrangements were made, such as the inclusion of coronavirus treatment in the scope of reimbursement. In addition, support was provided for the supply of medicines for chronic patients without the need for a report or prescription. We make insured temporary incapacity payments and pension transactions without waiting. In addition, in order to support the people affected by the pandemic process and our employers, support for working life was provided with applications such as normalization support, return to employment support, plus employment incentives and sectoral premium support.

Samsun Stand at YOREX Fair |

"What is famous about your place?" was asked by Antalya Commodity Exchange in 2009. Local Products Fair (YOREX), which started with this slogan and brings together thousands of local products produced or grown all over the country, opened its doors for the 12th time this year. At the fair held at ANFAŞ Fair Center with the participation of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Samsun stand, which was opened under the leadership of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, attracted great attention.
Intense interest in Samsun products
This year, many chambers and commodity exchanges of Turkey, development agencies, cooperatives, producer associations and nearly 700 companies took part in the fair. The giant Samsun stand, jointly opened by Chambers and Commodity Exchanges under the leadership of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STSO), attracted great attention. Samsun CCI Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of the Assembly Haluk Akyüz and Board Members along with Samsun Chamber and Commodity Exchange Presidents attended the opening of the fair. Assoc. Prof., who was appointed as Çorum Governor from Samsun Governorship, attended the Samsun stand where local products were exhibited. The guests showed great interest especially Zülkif Dağlı and TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Chatting with the chamber and stock exchange presidents for a while, Governor Zülkif Dağlı and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu did not forget to taste Samsun products. Various local products exhibited at the Samsun stand, such as Çarşamba region's kıvratma and dried tea bagel, Bafra's nokul, creamy Turkish delight, pita bread, rice, Vezirköprü's samovar, Terme's rice and Samsun Turkish delight and bagel, were the focus of attention of the visitors this year as well. Samsun bagel and Bafra rice pilaf and pita cooked at the stand were distributed to the visitors of the fair. Tea made in the Vezirköprü samovar was also served to the guests. Samsun products and promotional brochures were also distributed to the guests.
Murzioğlu: “Our aim is to raise awareness on our products”
Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Samsun CCI Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that with the positive impact of YÖREX, it provides the opportunity to protect and promote local products more and said, “Local products have a value, a spirit, an essence and an identity unique to themselves and their region. This feature of local products is valid not only for our Anatolia but for all local products in the world. In this context, the YOREX ??Fair is very meaningful. Turkish culture has a very deep and deep-rooted culture. We have very important values ??all over our country that need to be introduced to the world. YOREX ??has been serving this purpose for twelve years. As Samsun, we take care to ensure full participation with all our chambers and commodity exchanges. Our aim is to promote the local products of our city in the best way possible. We exhibit local products here and raise awareness. Our products attracted great attention this year too. A delegation from the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade from Russia met with Samsun CCI Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and held a consultation meeting.
The Russian Federation Delegation was including Roman Chekushov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in the Field of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Dmitry Belan, Head of the Department of Interaction with Companies Exporting Industrial Products, and Daria Ermakova, Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation Development of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in the Field of Foreign Trade of Russia.
Investment invitation from Murzioğlu
The Russian Federation Delegation, including Investment Site Services Manager of the Presidential Investment Office of the Republic of Turkey, Zahid Tuncel, and Presidential Investment Office Analyst Talha İnanç, met with Samsun CCI Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and Management Members. At the meeting where investment and cooperation opportunities were discussed, Samsun CCI Chairman Salih Zeki Murzioğlu gave information about the city's economy, industry and export potential, as well as its prominent sectors. Emphasizing that the commercial relations of the two neighboring countries are increasing day by day, Murzioğlu stated that future collaborations will provide significant contributions to the people of both countries and said that they, as the Chamber, are ready to contribute to the steps to be taken. Murzioğlu also invited Russian business people to invest in Samsun. Stating that they are happy to be in Samsun, Roman Chekushov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in the Field of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, said that they will do their best to further develop economic relations.
